Interest Rate dilemma for Indian policymakers

My earlier paper looked at the dilemma mainly from a US perspective. The new paper looks at the dilemma from an Indian perspective.

    Great paper – -very informative.
However, is there any data on the corresp. loans made by the top 5 banks during the said periods? And would it be wise to link debt Mutual fund flows to these charts?

    • Amol Agrawal Says:

      Sorry for the late reply.

You don’t get loans details of the top 5 banks but for the entire banking industry. It is at RBI’s website available with a 2 week lag in Weekly Statistical Supplement

Yes, debt MF data would be useful to see the linkages but it is very small compared to banking flows. Neverthless a good idea for further research
