India needs an energy budget instead of a railway budget..

Haseeb Drabu writes a superb article in Mint. He says India should do away with colonial practices and make policies which help India currently.

Oil/Energy remains the major risk for India going forward. Given its huge demand for oil and reliance on imports, high time we do some serious planning for the same. Instead of presenting things like railways budget we need something like an energy budget:

RBI introduces Working Paper Series

This blog has mentioned this many a times  (see this and this) – WHy doesn’t RBI have a working paper series till now? It is seen as the most preferred way to disseminate research from central bank.

Now, RBI has decided to start its WP series.
