RBI’s second international research conference

February 1, 2012

Well, I should have noted this earlier, but realized it only in late hours yesterday.RBI has not really advertised this event well.

RBI’s second international research conference is being held in Mumbai today. There is a live weblink for the conference proceedings. It is quite a good source  provided you have a good broad band connection.

The topic is super interesting: Monetary Policy, Sovereign Debt and Financial  Stability: The New Trilemma. The program details are  here (18 MB file!!!). Some big names there presenting papers and thoughts….

The papers will come up in some time. Some speeches are already there by D. Subbarao and Subir  Gokarn.

More to follow. Should have some interesting stuff to read.
