I am not sure how many have come across this fabulous serial showing on Rajya Sabha TV- Samvidhaan. This is the Youtube link.
It is directed by Shyam Benegal (who else) and shows how Indian constitution was framed. It is just amazing and has many goose pimple moments.
The quality of debates and prose during that time is just too good to be true.Even quality of humor given the stress was amazing.
The decline in our Parliamentary affairs could not be more stark. It should be shown to our current Parliamentarians and ask them to learn some lessons (and get some education!). The Congress Party should see it for sure given how much it has slumped since the time of independence.
Than you Mr Benegal for another gem.
